Bryan Acheampong adopts Volta Region NPP, pledges new future of hope, unity and growth
In a powerful closing to his week-long campaign tour of the Volta Region, Mr Bryan Acheampong has vowed to adopt the Volta Region NPP, declaring it a priority for development and empowerment.
The announcement, met with cheers from party delegates and workers, signalled a fresh commitment to an area eager for progress.
From bustling Ho to the quiet streets of Peki, Bryan’s tour has drawn massive crowds, with residents waving flags, placards and chanting slogans.
Bryan told supporters in Vakpo. “Together, we’ll build a future everyone can be proud of.”
Bryan has outlined a clear roadmap for his vision. He has promised to unify the party, bridging the divides within the party and the constituencies.
His promise to resource the local party base directly has struck a chord with the party faithful, who have felt neglected for a long time.
Bryan talks discipline as his hallmark and has promised accountability, ensuring leaders and members stay focused on results rooted in discipline.
Under his leadership, he envisions an NPP that delivers development with dignity, bringing visible projects such as roads, hospitals, and schools to restore pride in the region.
In a heartfelt moment at the EP Church in Vakpo, Bryan paused to honour the memory of late party members, calling them “the backbone of our journey.”
The tribute underscored his message of respect and continuity, linking past efforts to future goals.
“My adoption of Volta” is a call to action underpinning Bryan’s pledge that includes regular visits, community engagement, and tailored projects to tackle unemployment and infrastructure gaps.
Local trader Julius Amenuve, 42, shared, “Finally, someone sees our potential. We’re ready to work with him.”
With the campaign wrapping up in the Volta Region, Bryan left supporters with a final vow: “This is just the beginning. Volta’s time is now.”
Recent independent polls by Global Info Analytics and the Centre for Quality Governance have all seen Bryan make a strong surge in the NPP Primaries, dominating Ashanti and Eastern Regions. With the Volta Region fully behind him, Bryan is poised for a historic win at the polls in January 2026.
