Burglars steal laptops and documents from NDC Awutu Senya East constituency office
The National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Awutu Senya East Constituency says its constituency office was burgled, with laptops, cash and official documents stolen.
In a statement issued by Constituency Secretary Michael Kese Oteng-Pabi, the party said the break-in occurred on the night of July 5, 2026.
According to the statement, two laptops, an undisclosed amount of money and some official documents were taken during the burglary.
The incident has been reported to the Kasoa Police, who have commenced investigations.
The constituency office said measures are being taken to safeguard any party information that may have been compromised.
Despite the incident, the NDC assured members that activities in the constituency would continue without interruption.
The party said planned branch elections and all other constituency activities would proceed as scheduled.
It also appealed to members of the public with information that could assist the investigation to contact the police.
