Dan Botwe takes over Chieftaincy, Religious Affairs Ministry as minister resigns
Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs Minister Ebenezer Kojo Kum has resigned from office with immediate effect.
A statement issued by presidential spokesperson Eugene Arhin announced on Friday, 3 February 2023 that President Nana Akufo-Addo has accepted Mr Kojo Kum’s resignation.
The Member of Parliament for the Ahanta West constituency tendered his resignation letter that same day.
President Akufo-Addo thanked him for his services and wished him well in his future endeavours.
In the interim, the president has tasked Mr Dan Botwe, Minister of Local Government, Decentralisation and Rural Development to act as a caretaker minister of the vacant ministry.
