Dec. 7 Polls: Ghana is due for change with Mahama’s return – Fifi Kwetey
The General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Fifi Fiavi Kwetey, has declared the return of John Dramani Mahama as Ghana’s next president a certainty, describing it as both a political and divine imperative.
Speaking at the NDC’s final rally at the Zurak Park in Madina on Thursday, 5 December 2024, Mr. Kwetey urged Ghanaians to embrace the opportunity for change by voting decisively for the NDC in the 7 December general elections.
Mr. Kwetey framed the upcoming election as a defining moment in Ghana’s history, calling on voters to align with what he described as the will of God.
“Once you stand by the truth, God will fulfil his word, and the word of God concerning December 7 is that Ghana is due for victory and change, and Ghana is due for the coming back of John Dramani Mahama, and no power will stop it,” the NDC General Secretary stated emphatically.
He further called on the youth, in particular, to use their votes to reject the hardships and disappointments they have endured under the current New Patriotic Party (NPP) administration.
“December 7 is for the youth, and you have to look at the suffering, the disappointment, the loss of hope, and come out to make a statement that enough is enough and the NPP must go,” he added.
