She urged Ghanaians to disregard the social media claims, stating an official announcement about her running mate will be made in due course.
Nana Frimpomaa Kumankumah was elected as the CPP's presidential candidate for the upcoming December 7 general election on Wednesday, September 4, following a competitive electoral process held across all 16 regions of Ghana.

A total of 1,360 votes were cast, with 11 votes rejected.
In her victory speech, Nana Frimpomaa Kumankumah called for unity within the party to ensure success in the 2024 general elections.
“In every election, one person will emerge as the winner, and it is essential for everyone to stand together to ensure unity and cohesion,” she stated.
