Dec polls: EC to receive nominations from Sept 9

The Electoral Commission (EC) has announced that, in accordance with regulations 6, 7, and 8 of the Public Elections Regulation, 2020 (C.I 127), it will receive nominations for the election of President and Members of Parliament from September 9, 2024, to Friday, September 13, 2024.
In a statement dated August 1, 2024, and signed by Mr. Samuel Tettey, the Deputy Chairman in charge of Operations, the EC revealed the schedule for the receipt of nomination forms.
According to the EC, interested candidates are required to download the nomination forms from the Commission’s website (https://ec.gov.gh/forms) starting Friday, August 2, 2024.
