GAR NPP race: Chairman Dollar leads in UG polls

A study released by the Political Science Department of the University of Ghana, Legon, ahead of the election of regional executives for the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) puts the immediate past Constituency Chairman for Madina in the Greater Accra Region, Mr Eric Yeboah Nartey, popularly known as Chairman Dollar, in the lead for the position of Second Vice-Chairman for the region.

The research said Mr Nartey will obtain 35 per cent of the total votes cast with Mr Peter Vanderpuye pulling 25 per cent.

Other contestants include Mr Francis Ebo Mensah (21.5 per cent) and Mr Jeffrey Osei (18.5 per cent).

In this research, the target was constituency executives with a sample size of 340 in a population of 600+ delegates.

A margin of error of +/-5 at a 95% confidence level.

This is an opinion poll conducted with the use of Pollscape, phone calls, and Social media.
