Ghana needs a change in economic direction – Korsi Dzokoto

An economic policy analyst, Korsi Dzokoto, has called for a complete paradigm shift in the country's economic path.
According to Mr Dzokoto, the current situation in which the country finds itself is a sad one.
He made the comment on Monday, March 13th, 2023 on the Class Morning Show with Korku Lumor.
He appealed to the Finance Minister, Ken Ofori-Atta, to resign and stressed that his exit will pave way for a new path of hope and renewed investor confidence in the country's economy.
In his view, Mr Ofori-Atta’s resignation and a renewed confidence in the economy could translate into some $15billion gains for Ghana.
“In other parts of the world, when economies are in a mess, Finance Ministers resign honourably. They do not take it personal as is the case with Ken Ofori-Atta,” he stated.
He further called on the Akufo-Addo-Bawumia-led administration to ensure monies borrowed in the name of the country are judiciously invested in the economy to yield the required returns and not misused to pursue the parochial political interests of those in power.
