'I have not endorsed any candidate in NPP race'-Addai Nimoh

Failed presidential aspirant of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr Francis Addai-Nimoh, has dismissed reports suggesting he has endorsed Kennedy Agyapong in the party’s upcoming January 2026 presidential primary.
The former aspirant’s denial follows widespread social media speculation linking him to Mr. Agyapong’s camp.
Speaking on the Ghana Yensom morning show hosted by Kaayire Kwesi Appea-Apreku on Accra 100.5 FM on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, Mr. Addai-Nimoh stressed that no such endorsement has been made.
“I have not endorsed any candidate in the NPP race,” he clarified.
He further explained that his decision to withdraw from the race was driven by disagreements with the party’s current modus operandi.
According to him, pulling out was meant to signal to the leadership that “all is not well within the party.”
Mr. Addai-Nimoh reiterated his commitment to the NPP but maintained that reforms are urgently needed to strengthen the party’s internal processes.
