Majority Caucus donates GHS 100,000 to family of late Ayawaso East MP

The Majority Caucus in Parliament on Tuesday presented a cash donation of GHS100,000 to the wife of the late Member of Parliament for Ayawaso East, Mahama Naser Toure, at her residence in Accra.

The donation was made on behalf of the caucus as a gesture of solidarity and support for the bereaved family following the passing of the legislator.

Members of the caucus said the contribution was meant to assist the family during the difficult period of mourning and to demonstrate Parliament’s collective sympathy.

Speaking during the presentation, representatives of the Majority Caucus, Comfort Dooyoo Ghansah, described the late Mahama Naser Toure as a dedicated public servant who served his constituents and the nation with commitment.

They extended their condolences to the widow and family, assuring them of continued support.

The widow, Hajia Amina Adams, on behalf of the family, expressed gratitude to the Majority Caucus for the kind gesture and support, noting that it provided comfort during a challenging time.

 

Mahama Naser Toure, who served as MP for Ayawaso East, was widely regarded as an active legislator with a strong passion for constituency development.
