NDC Regional chairmen pay courtesy call on GoldBod CEO
Regional Chairmen of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) have paid a courtesy call on the Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Gold Board (GoldBod), Lawyer Sammy Gyamfi, to commend him for what they described as his exceptional leadership and dedicated service to the nation.
The visit, which took place at the GoldBod headquarters, was to express appreciation and offer encouragement to Mr. Gyamfi for the work he has undertaken since assuming office, particularly in strengthening Ghana’s gold trading and regulatory framework.
Speaking on behalf of the delegation, the Regional Chairmen praised the CEO for his commitment to transparency, accountability, and innovation in managing the country’s gold resources.
They noted that his efforts are already yielding positive results for the economy and positioning GoldBod as a key institution in maximising value from Ghana’s mineral wealth.
They further highlighted Mr. Gyamfi’s professionalism and sense of patriotism, stating that his stewardship reflects the NDC’s broader vision of competent and results-oriented leadership in public service.
The Chairmen encouraged him to remain steadfast and focused, assuring him of their full support as he continues to implement reforms aimed at boosting revenue generation, curbing illegal activities in the gold sector, and creating opportunities for Ghanaians.
In response, Lawyer Sammy Gyamfi thanked the delegation for the visit and the show of solidarity.
He reaffirmed his commitment to serving Ghana with integrity and pledged to work diligently to ensure that GoldBod delivers maximum benefits to the country.
The visit forms part of ongoing engagements between party leadership and appointees serving in key national institutions, aimed at fostering collaboration and promoting effective governance for national development.
