The National Democratic Congress (NDC) will hold a town hall meeting in Kumasi to break down and explain its “transformational” policies contained in the party’s 2020 manifesto, dubbed: ‘The People’s Manifesto’, to the electorate.

The event, scheduled for Tuesday, 15 September 2020, will be addressed by the party’s flagbearer, Mr John Dramani Mahama.

It will be graced by party members and the general public.

A statement signed by the NDC’s National Communication Officer, Mr Sammy Gyamfi, on 11 September 2020, indicated that similar events will be held in the other regions of the country.

“The NDC assures the general public that we intend to take ‘The People’s Manifesto’ to the doorsteps of every Ghanaian, as we embark on the rescue mission to create jobs and prosperity for all, and restore Ghana to the path of development and true progress,” the statement read.

The biggest opposition party launched its 2020 manifesto on Monday, 7 September 2020.

The manifesto was themed: “Jobs, Prosperity and More.”
