NPP polls: Wontumi re-elected as Ashanti chair for third time
Mr Bernard Antwi Boasiako popularly known as Chairman Wontumi was, on Saturday, 28 May 2022, re-elected as the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
The Ashanti regional chairman, Mr Bernard Antwi Boasiako polled 464 to beat his closest contender, Mr Odeneho Kwasi Appiah (COKA, who polled 306 votes, to win the slot for the third time.
The others, Asare Bediako Robert had 20 votes, Kwabena Owusu Aduomi had 9 votes and Kofi Adum Bawua 3 votes.
