NPP blasts NDC for engaging in ‘Copyfesto’
Mr Dennis Miracles Aboagye, the Director of Communications for the Dr. Bawumia for President 2024 campaign, has labelled the National Democratic Congress's (NDC) manifesto launch on Saturday, August 24, 2024, in Winneba, Central Region, as a "COPYFESTO."
In a Facebook post dated August 24, 2024, Mr Aboagye boldly accused the NDC of lifting many of their proposed plans directly from the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) manifesto.
Mr Aboagye’s post, which quickly garnered attention on social media, suggested that former President John Mahama and the NDC had copied key policies and ideas from the NPP's previous manifestos, presenting them as their own during the launch.
His comments have sparked debate among political observers and supporters, with some backing his claims and others defending the originality of the NDC's proposals.
He listed the areas of lifting as health, housing, job creation, use of Starlink to boost education among others.
