Napo labels Ashanti Region NDC voters as ‘nation-wreckers’
Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, the running mate for the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), has described individuals in the Ashanti Region who vote for the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) as "nation-wreckers."
Addressing a crowd of NPP supporters during the Manhyia South health walk in Kumasi, Dr. Prempeh, also known as Napo, criticized the NDC for its history of neglecting the Ashanti Region.
He argued that voting for the NDC would amount to betraying the interests of the region, which he says the NDC has consistently sidelined.
Napo reaffirmed the NPP's goal of securing 85% of the votes in the Ashanti Region and called on supporters to stay committed to the party, ensuring victory in the upcoming election.
