Ntotronso Nursing and Midwifery College students mob Mahama on Ahafo campaign tour

On Wednesday, scores of students from Ntotronso Nursing and Midwifery College in the Ahafo Region welcomed former President John Dramani Mahama with enthusiastic support as they unexpectedly gathered to hear about his transformative policies from the' Resetting Ghana 2024' manifesto.
In response to their calls for an address, Mr Mahama shared key policies aimed at revitalising the nursing and midwifery sector.
Among the promises Mr Mahama outlined were the restoration of automatic employment for nursing graduates, free academic fees for first-year students in public universities, including nursing trainees, and the introduction of degree and specialist nursing programmes in nursing colleges.
“These policies are designed to bring about positive change in the nursing and midwifery sector, offering hope and optimism for the future,” Mr Mahama stated, drawing applause from the gathered students.
