PNC probes Mornah, Henry Asante over party cash
The People’s National Convention (PNC) has set up a five-member committee to investigate the alleged receipts and deposits of party funds meant for party operations into the personal or private bank accounts of Mr Bernard Mornah and Mr Henry Asante, the national chairman and second vice-chairman of the party, respectively.
The committee is to invite the two gentlemen and question them about the party’s kitty.
The PNC, in a statement, said the probe is to help the party keep records of all funds received as well as transactions made so far, as the party prepares for the 2020 national delegates conference.
The five-member investigative team is made up of Moses Daniba, Alhassan Azong, Mr Isshaque Awudu, Ms Janet Dabla and Alhaji Yakubu.
