Ursula kick starts ‘Get out to register’ campaign in Ablekuma West

The Member of Parliament for the Ablekuma West Constituency, Mrs Ursula Owusu-Ekuful, on Saturday kick-started a 'Get out to register' campaign to sensitise her constituents on the upcoming voter registration exercise.
The voter registration exercise begins across the country on Tuesday, 30 June 2020.
According to the lawmaker, the door-to-door campaign focuses on getting the majority of her constituents to register and exercise their rights in the 7 December general election.
The MP, together with the U20 group (an Ablekuma West constituency-based youth election volunteer group) educated the masses on the requirements for the registration and the proposed Electoral Commission’s registration centres.
The campaign saw the distribution of some PPE to the constituents to enable them adhere to the COVID-19 protocols while exercising their rights.
