V/R: Kofi Dzamesi withdraws from Ketu North NPP Parliamentary race
A Parliamentary Candidate aspirant for the Ketu North Constituency, Dr Samuel Kofi Ahiavi Dzamesi has announced he will not be contesting in the upcoming primaries of the governing New Patriotic Party in the Constituency.
Dr Dzamesi, who announced his withdrawal from the Parliamentary candidacy race, in a letter addressed to the Chairman of the National Election Committee, stressed his commitment to support and defend the party as he has been doing for the past 30 years.
“I am very hopeful that the NPP would benefit greatly from new faces and fresh perspectives as I have opined on personal terms coupled with considerations and consultations not to contest for the Parliamentary Candidature of the Great NPP for the Ketu North this time around,” the letter stated.
He also thanked the party for the confidence reposed in him and the support given him over the years.
