Mr Beautiful has argued recent comments by New Patriotic Party (NPP) parliament aspirant Pius Enam Hadzide is proof the NPP led by President Nana Akufo-Addo has ruined Ghana.

In a viral video, Pius Hadzide, while campaigning for the Asuogyaman constituency parliamentary seat, promised constituents, he would facilitate their travel to the United States of America so they could make money for their families in Ghana. He indicated he would do so by having them join the 2026 World Cup envoys. He supported his claim by stating he helped people relocate to Australia through the 2018 Commonwealth Games. 

Kumawood star Mr Beautiful rebuked Hadzide for being a "mini thinker" and a "shallow mind".

“A deep thinker will never make such a statement,” he emphasised. “You commit a crime, your president intervenes, clears your name, [and] people have forgotten about it, but because it’s a spirit living in you, you couldn’t keep your mouth shut. Now you want us to vote and get you into parliament.”

When Pius Hadzide, as a deputy minister of youth and sports, was cited in the Commonwealth visa scandal, he was suspended by President Akufo-Addo. Before the president reinstated him, he noted Hadzide had been "exonerated" following an investigation.

Mr Beautiful speaking to Nana Romeo on Accra 100.5 FM's Ayekoo Ayekoo, Thursday, September 12, 2024, rebuked Pius Hadzide for seeking to “use his parliamentary office for visa connection – you don’t deserve such an office”.

He wondered why rather than “creating jobs for the constituency, he wants to package constituents like rice, potatoes, tomatoes, snails, and send them abroad”.

Considering Hadzide's campaign promise and the current economic hardship in Ghana, Mr Beautiful argued it was plain to see the NPP parliamentary aspirant's utterance as an admission President Akufo-Addo and his government of eight years had demonstrably failed at managing the economy of Ghana.

“If you had done a good job during your tenure, would you be seeking to take people out of Ghana? Pius has proven to me they have destroyed the country. Do you take people out of a flourishing place?” Mr Beautiful asked.
