Vote for a President who’ll restore honesty, service to Ghana’s body politic – NDC to Ghanaians
The Council of Elders of the main opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) has urged Ghanaians to vote for a president who embodies honesty, service, and a commitment to the nation’s well-being in the upcoming December 7 elections.
In a statement issued ahead of the polls, the Council stressed the importance of electing a leader who prioritises the broader national interest and the welfare of all citizens.
“We urge Ghanaians to vote for a President who will restore honesty and service in our body politic. John Mahama is a reassuring personality with a passion for what works in the broader national interest. With John, success means lifting every Ghanaian,” the Council said.
The Council also commended the party’s members, supporters, and volunteers for their exceptional energy and dedication throughout the 2024 campaign. It acknowledged the spirit of sacrifice, enthusiasm, and personal initiative that have been pivotal to the NDC’s efforts as the election draws near.
“We salute our party’s members, supporters, men, women, and youth. The energy and passion exhibited in the campaign have been very inspiring. Let us finish hard,” the Council added, encouraging supporters to maintain their momentum until Election Day.
As the December 7 elections approach, the Council called on Ghanaians to get out early and vote for President John Dramani Mahama and NDC parliamentary candidates.
The statement also highlighted the importance of high voter turnout and the need for every vote to count in shaping the future of the country.
“Let us usher in a new Ghana. It is time to reset Ghana,” the statement added.
