Would NPP survive the tsunami if Adwoa Safo decides to speak? – Sam George

Member of Parliament(MP) for Ningo Prampram Sam George is wondering whether the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) would be ready to face the consequences if sacked Minister for Gender and Social Protection Sarah Adwoa Safo decides to open up on issues surrounding her absence from office as a government appointee.
The Ningo Prampram MP’s comment comes on the back of the removal of the Dome Kwabenya MP as Gender Minister.
In a tweet on Friday, 29 July 2022, the Ningo Prampram MP said: “If @AdwoaHon decides to speak, would the Majority and the NPP survive the tsunami it would cause?”
He added: “Are they really ready for the inquest? As for me, I am ready for the 'fireworks.'”
President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo on Thursday, 28 July 2022, revoked the appointment of the Dome Kwabenya MP as Minister for Gender, Children and Social Protection with immediate effect.
A statement issued by the Office of the President and signed by the Director of Communications Eugene Arhin said: “The Minister for Sanitation and Water Resources, Madam Cecilia Abena Dapaah, will continue to act as caretaker Minister for Gender, Children and Social Protection, until such a time that President Akufo-Addo appoints a substantive Minister.”
