You have spoken well, and we have heard you - Bawumia to Ghanaians

Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, the former Vice President and 2024 flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has assured Ghanaians that their concerns have been acknowledged and will guide the party’s future actions.
Speaking during the NPP’s Thank You Tour in Goaso, Dr Bawumia emphasised the importance of listening to the voices of the people following the outcome of the December 2024 general elections.
Addressing a large crowd of supporters and residents, Dr Bawumia said, “You have spoken, and we have heard you. Your concerns, your hopes, and your expectations have been received loud and clear.”
He reiterated the party’s commitment to learning from the experience and using it as a foundation to strengthen their policies and strategies going forward.
Dr Bawumia expressed gratitude to the people of Goaso and the broader Ghanaian populace for their support and constructive feedback.
He noted, “We are grateful for your trust, your criticisms, and your encouragement.
They are invaluable as we chart a renewed path for the NPP and for Ghana.”
According to him, the Thank You Tour was not only an expression of appreciation but also an opportunity to reconnect with the grassroots.
The former Vice President further called for unity within the party, urging members and supporters to remain focused and resilient.
“Let us work together, hand in hand, to build the Ghana we all desire.
Together, we can overcome every challenge and seize every opportunity,” Dr Bawumia stated.
He concluded by reaffirming the NPP’s dedication to serving the interests of all Ghanaians, promising that the lessons learnt will shape a stronger, more responsive political movement.
