Swiss side, FC Zurich, have confirmed signing 21-year-old striker, Daniel Afriyie Barnieh, from Accra Hearts of Oak.
The contract ends until the summer of 2026.
The parties have agreed not to disclose the details of the transfer.
Afriyie Barnieh was under contract with Ghanaian second division club Galaxy United from 2016 to 2017. He then played in Burkina Faso at Rahimo FC, where he won the championship and qualified for the CAF Champions League.
He moved back to Ghana, where he has been playing at Hearts of Oak since summer 2019 and scored 13 goals and four assists in 69 competitive games.
Afriyie Barnieh will join FC Zurich after his assignment at the current African Nations Cup, in which only players who play in the national leagues of their home countries are eligible.
Marinko Jurendic, head of sport at FC Zurich, commenting on the transfer said: "Daniel Afriyie is a dynamic and versatile attacking player who has a courageous style of play. He should take the next step in development at FCZ and give our game further opportunities forward."
