British-Nigerian heavyweight boxing champion Anthony Joshua has paid a courtesy call on  President John Dramani Mahama during his visit to Ghana, as part of a tour tracing his African roots.

The former unified heavyweight world champion, who has recently expressed a deep interest in reconnecting with his heritage, met with President Mahama to exchange pleasantries and discuss matters of mutual interest, including youth empowerment and sports development in Africa.
