Black Princesses’ captain Badu ruled out of u-20 women’s world cup
A replacement has been named for Ghana’s Captain Evelyn Badu, who will not be playing in the U-20 Women’s World Cup.
Afia Nyarko will take Badu’s the captain’s place despite being dropped after the Black Princesses’ friendly with France.
The captain was ruled out of the team’s first game against the Unites States due to an ankle injury.
The Technical team has however replaced her with Nyarko in the final squad submitted to FIFA.
FIFA, based on medical grounds, approved the change.
The Black Princesses will play their first group match today, at 17.00 GMT.
