Black Stars visit Osu Children's Home, bearing gifts, after qualifying for 2026 FIFA WC
The Black Stars have made a donation to the Osu Children’s Home, after Sunday's victory.
The team's technical department, led by Coach Otto Addo, visited the home on Monday, October 13, 2025.
Present were Technical Advisor Winfred Schaeffer, Assistant Coaches Desmond Ofei Sakyi, John Panstil, Fatau Dauda, Kris Perquy, Psychologist, Gregory De Grauwe and Awal Kamin, Video Analysts, Physiotherapists, Samuel Ankomah, Major Albert Evedzi, and Edward Ababio as well as Team Manager Ameenu Shardow.
The Black Stars after beating Comoros 1:0 at the Accra (Ohene Gyan) Sports Stadium, leading to their qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup meant to give back to society by expressing support for the children of Osu Children's Home.
The team leads Group I with 25 points from 8 victories, one draw, and one loss.
The 2026 FIFA World Cup will be jointly hosted by Mexico, the United States of America, and Canada.
