Coach Duncan denies Hearts return rumours
Hard-talking coach David Duncan has dismissed speculations of his return to Accra Hearts of Oak.
Duncan told Class Sports that he has neither been approached nor received any offer from the Phobians.
Though he did not rule out coaching the Phobians again, he was emphatic that Hearts have not contacted him.
“I’ve not received any offer from the Phobians; no one has contacted me,” he said when Class Sports caught up with him.
Hearts, under the tutelage of Coach Odoom, defeated Cape Coast Dwarfs 2 – 1 at the Accra Sports Stadium – their first win since the Ghana Premier League began.
Many Hearts supporters were not satisfied with the performance of the 20-time GPL champions though they won the match.
Duncan is noted for his strict disciplinary record and very tactical approach to football.
