Complete Azumah Sports Complex by 1Q 2020 – Asiamah to contractor

The Minister of Youth and Sports, Isaac Kwame Asiamah on Friday 6 September 2019 paid a working visit to the Azumah Nelson Youth and Sports Centre of Excellence, which is currently under construction, to ascertain the progress of work on the site.

He commended impressed with the progress of work so far but said: "The project should be completed by the end of the first quarter of next year".

The project, when completed, will house a football field, tartan tracks, volleyball/basketball courts, ICT/Counselling centres and a restaurant

In a piece of related news, Mr Asiamah also led a delegation from his ministry to meet and interact with the management and senior staff of the National Youth Authority (NYA) on the same day.

He encouraged them to remain motivated and work diligently toward achieving the supreme interest of the youth in Ghana.

Mr Asiamah also assured the management and staff of NYA that the government remains committed to ensuring the vision, mission and mandates of the Authority are achieved.
