GPL: Hearts v Ashgold headlines matchday 8

Resurgent Accra Hearts of Oak will host Ashgold in an uncompromising fashion as matchday 8 of the ongoing Ghana Premier League resumes today, Wednesday, 5 February 2020.
The match between the two heavyweights would, however, come off at the Accra Sports Stadium on Thursday.
Hearts beat Dreams FC 1 – 0 at the Dawu Park last Sunday after losing against Asante Kotoko, but looks more purposeful to carry the day.
The new kid on the block, Emmanuel Nettey, who controls affairs the middle and makes it difficult for his opponents is expected to inspire the Phobians to victory.
But 4th-place Ashgold, who always show character in Accra, might pose some problems for Hearts.
In Sogakope, the battle between home side WAFA and Asante Kotoko could end in a draw.
Kotoko failed to capitalise on their win against Hearts when they came back from a goal down to draw with Liberty at home.
League leaders Aduana Stars should not have much of a problem when they travel to Cape Coast to play against Ebusua Dwarfs.
The Abontua Abontua Boys are still bottom on the table and will find it difficult to beat the Dormaa-based club.
Elsewhere, second-placed side Berekum Chelsea are expected to walk away with victory over Karela FC.
King Faisal will also welcome Great Olympics to the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
