GPL: Liberty beat WAFA
Liberty Professionals returned to winning ways when they defeated WAFA 2 – 1 at Sogakope.
The Dansoman lads who lost to the Phobians 1 – 2 over the weekend, were impressive throughout the game.
Liberty scored first through Elvis Kyei Baffour’s penalty kick.
Substitute Sampson Agyapong, however, got the equaliser in the second half but Alhassan Mubarak got the winner for Liberty.
Liberty have now made it two out of three wins in their travels.
They are now 9th with nine points
In Accra, Legon Cities FC won their first match of the season with a lone goal victory over Bechem United.
