The Ghana Rugby League Nines Series enters its second month with all four clubs poised to take the utmost five points up for grabs.

The games, scheduled for 23 February 2020, start with a photoshoot for all the teams, the games proper, a mental health session, and a drop kick challenge.

This edition will have a unique touch-up by way of a donation to Gerald; a colleague sports man battling Leukemia.

The organiser of the day, Riddick Alibah Abrokwah, said: “February is a month of love, and, as such, we, the Rugby League Federation Ghana, wish to lend a helping hand to a friend, colleague and brother while we enjoy the oval ball. This month promises to be more fun with the inclusion of the drop-kick challenge at half-times. I will entreat everybody present to come try his or her hands on this”.

“Looking at the game proper, it’s still early days to give Bulls the nod ahead of the other teams. Skolars still look promising, losing narrowly to Bulls in the January edition; so are Pirates, who placed third with just nine men in the entire tournament.”

Panthers have also gone to re-group and ready to return to glory days with a vow to score Pirates and any team that comes their way.

The event, sponsored by Radical, looks at running the entire 12 months with 10 more to go.
