The Head Coach of King Faisal, Nuredeen Amadu, has said Ibrahim Osman is not yet ready to join the Black Stars should he be called up.

The coach believes the forward is not prepared for the pressure that comes with playing for the senior national team of Ghana.

Rather, he believes joining the local Black Stars is the perfect start for the youngster to adequately prepare for a possible call-up.

Coach Nureeden is hopeful that Osman will fit into the local Black Stars and an impressive performance from the youngster will rightfully earn him a spot in the senior national team.

The 22-year-old centre-forward joined King Faisal from Kotoko this season and has already netted four goals for his new club.

He scored the only goal in the premier league clash against Elmina Sharks, which saw King Faisal jump to the top of the Ghana Premier League table”.

“If he starts from the local Black Stars, that will be better because that is an area he could easily fit in”.

“If you play there and do well, definitely you will be called up but [with] the Black Stars, the pressure will be too much for him for now”, Nuredeen said.

Ibrahim Osman and Zubairu Ibrahim are the joint top goal scorers for King Faisal this season.

Osman is only two goals behind Maxwell Quaye, the Accra Great Olympics forward who leads the Ghana Premier League goal scoring chart this season with six goals.
