Liverpool to meet Real Madrid, others
Defending European champions Liverpool could face Real Madrid , Atletico Madrid or their coach Jurgen Klopp's former team Borussia Dortmund.
The runaway English Premier League leaders topped their group with a 2-0 win over Austrian Red Bull Salzburg and will meet any runner up in the other groups.
There is also the possibility of meeting Chelsea or Tottenham in the next round.
But they will however avoid some big clubs including Paris-Saint Germain, Bayern Munich, Manchester City, Juventus , Barcelona and Valencia, all going through as group winners.
The teams that have qualified for the next stage of the UEFA Champions are PSG, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Tottenham Hotspurs, Man City, Juventus, Liverpool, Napoli, Leipzig, Lyon, Valencia and Chelsea.
