Muntari loses mother Hajia Kande
Former Black Stars midfielder Sulley Muntari has lost his mother Hajia Kande.
Hajia Kande according to reports died on Sunday after battling with an illness.
She was buried on the same day in relation to Islamic customs.
Hajia Kande was a staunch supporter of her son during his peak days as a footballer.
During his time with Inter Milan, Sulley Muntari helped the team win the Champions League in 2009–10 and the Serie A title in 2008–09 and 2009–10.
He was also part of the Portsmouth team that won the FA Cup in 2007–08.
Muntari has earned over 80 caps for the Ghanaian national team and was selected for two Africa Cup of Nations tournaments and three FIFA World Cups.
