Qatar 2022: Ghana appreciates your efforts – Bawumia to Black Stars

Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia has urged the Black Stars to work toward qualifying for the round of 16 in their next game in the ongoing World Cup in Qatar.
This comes on the back of the team’s first victory at the tournament against South Korea.
Ghana, on Monday, 28 November 2022, beat South Korea 3-2 in their second group H match.
Reacting to the team’s performance, the Vice President, in a Facebook post, said: "Congratulations to our gallant Black Stars!”
He stressed: “The country appreciates your efforts and hard work in today's game. You chased and caught your dreams.”
“Go for qualification in our last group game against Uruguay on Friday,” the Vice President added.
