Qatar ’22: Injured Wollacot joins Black Stars camp ahead of Portugal game
Injured goalkeeper Joseph Wollacot has arrived at the Black Stars team base in Doha ahead of Ghana’s opening World Cup Group H game against Portugal on Thursday, 24 November 2022.
The Charlton Athletic goalie was left out of Coach Otto Addo’s 26-man squad after he picked up a last minute injury.
Wollacot is, however, joining his teammates to offer them support.
He was welcomed with hugs amidst laughter from his teammates.
Ghana after playing Portugal on Thursday also have dates with Asian giants S. Korea and Uruguay.
