'They are crazy' – Sammy Flex responds to critics, doubles down on Shatta Wale defence
Samuel Atuobi Baah, alias Sammy Flex, has explained why he perpertually stands in defence of his artiste Shatta Wale.
On Facebook, Tuesday, April 16, 2024, the account Quagraine Fiifi Duke wondered why entertainment journalists and pundits were incessantly impressing on Sammy Flex to "advise Wale". He asserted these people were ignorant of the work of a manager doubling as a PRO.
In the comments, Sammy Flex reacted, buttressing the post.
He seemed happy to observe he was not being reported for "insulting" but rather "defending".
He asked: "If you work in a company and you can't defend your company publicly, then what kind of a hypocrite worker are you?"
The TV/Radio host explained what he meant by a "hypocrite worker" by pointing out how inconsistent it is that: "You can't be part of the hard days but you want to enjoy glory and the good days."
He concluded by calling his critics "crazy".
Sammy Flex has come under heavy criticism after the artiste he manages, Shatta Wale, launched an attack on his rival Stonebwoy, ridiculing him for the disability he suffered in his right leg due to an accident 21 years ago.
Speaking on Onua FM, Sammy Flex remarked: “I don’t take some of these things seriously because it is a game they play all the time. When it comes to throwing jabs, they all do that at the least opportunity they get and I see nothing wrong with it.”
Shatta Wale renewed his attacks on Stonebwoy because the latter failed to show up for an event, Salla Fest, they were both billed to perform for.
According to Sammy Flex, his team received intelligence prior to arriving at the event grounds, and subsequently, the organisers of the event informed them Stonebwoy would not appear because of Shatta Wale's involvement.
