MP supports SHS students with trunks and mattresses

Member of Parliament for Awutu Senya West and Deputy Minister for Works, Housing and Water Resources, Miss Gizella Tetteh Abgotui, has reinforced her commitment to education and youth development with the distribution of 200 metallic trunks and 200 mattresses to first-year Senior High School students in her constituency.
The intervention is aimed at reducing the financial pressure on parents as they prepare their children for the next stage of their academic journey.
Addressing the students, Ms. Tetteh Abgotui urged them to remain disciplined, focused, and determined in their studies, assuring them of her continuous support.
She also announced that students who excel academically would have access to scholarship opportunities, building on her earlier initiative, which secured financial assistance for 53 tertiary students from Awutu Senya West.
The District Chief Executive, Kalala Eghan, also addressed the gathering, delivering an inspiring message that encouraged students to embrace the support provided and to strive for excellence both in academics and character.
This latest intervention forms part of Ms. Tetteh Abgotui’s broader educational development agenda, which focuses on human capital growth and the empowerment of young people in the constituency.
