Defence Minister engages NDC Greater Accra ward coordinators

The Minister for Defence, Dr. Edward Omane Boamah, has held a productive meeting with representatives of the Ward Coordinators of the Greater Accra regional branch of the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC).
The engagement forms part of ongoing efforts to strengthen grassroots mobilisation and party unity.
Discussions focused on strategic planning and the importance of effective coordination at the ward level to ensure electoral success.
In a separate event, Dr. Omane Boamah also received a courtesy visit from the National Executives of the Pope John Senior High School and Minor Seminary Old Boys Association (POJOBA).
The visit was to congratulate the Minister on his appointment and reaffirm the Association’s pride in his achievements as an illustrious alumnus of POJOSS.
During the cordial meeting, the team, led by Rev. Fr. Ohene, Headmaster of POJOSS, engaged Dr. Omane Boamah in an enriching conversation about the school’s legacy, ongoing development, and the many notable individuals it has produced.
Dr. Omane Boamah expressed deep appreciation for the visit and proudly reminisced about his time at the institution.
He gladly accepted an invitation extended by POJOBA to serve as the Special Guest of Honour at the school's Speech and Prize Giving Day scheduled for June 2025.
“I am truly honoured by this recognition. May our alma mater — our nourishing mother — continue to flourish,” he remarked.
The visit highlighted the enduring bonds of the POJOSS fraternity and their collective commitment to upholding the school’s legacy of excellence.
