ADB hosts health walk to mark 60th anniversary

The Agricultural Development Bank (ADB) has held a health and fitness walk as part of activities marking its 60th anniversary. The event, which took place at the Aviation Social Centre in Accra, brought together staff, management, and key stakeholders for a morning of exercise, wellness, and camaraderie under the theme “ADB Beyond Banking.”
The initiative is part of the bank’s broader efforts to promote healthy lifestyles among employees while strengthening team spirit and unity as it celebrates six decades of service in Ghana’s banking sector.
Addressing the media after the walk, ADB Managing Director Edward Ato Sarpong emphasized the bank’s renewed focus on customer service.
He disclosed that ADB is rolling out three major strategic interventions aimed at enhancing client engagement and improving the overall banking experience.
Mr. Sarpong noted that the anniversary is not just a moment of celebration, but also an opportunity for reflection and renewed commitment to customer-centric banking.
