Bawumia launches Revenue Assurance and Compliance Enforcement today

Vice-president Mahamudu Bawumia will today, Wednesday, 25 August 2021, launch the Revenue Assurance and Compliance Enforcement (RACE) initiative.
The launch, is in collaboration with the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Trade, Ministry of Interior, National security and the Ghana Revenue Authority.
RACE aims to facilitate effective and efficient mobilisation of resources.
It also aims to ensure high tax compliance and increase the revenue-to-GDP ratio to support the implementation of the Ghana CARES Obaatanpa programme.
