David Afflu resigns as PZ Cussons MD

The Managing Director of PZ Cussons, David Afflu, has resigned.
The astute marketing and business development professional's resignation took effect from 11 February 2020.
It is unclear what led to his resignation but the company assigned personal reasons to his exit.
Mr Afflu was the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIMG) Marketing Professional of the Year in 2017.
Meanwhile, the company has announced the appointment of Adiza Sefiyanu as the Acting MD of the company, effective 12 February 2020.
She is a certified practising Chartered Accountant with 17 years’ experience.
She is well vest in areas such as account reconciliation, budgeting, forecasting, internal controls, governance and financial planning.
She is a Fellow of the Chartered Certified Accountant of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
PZ is presently trading at 38 pesewas per share on the Ghana Stock Exchange.
