Implementation of tariff increment begins Feb 1

The management of the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) is announcing that its first quarter tariff review implementation will start effective Wednesday, February 1, 2023, as directed by the Public Utilities Regulatory Commission (PURC).
The statement announcing the implementation of the tariff review for the first quarter was dated January 31, 2023.
According to the ECG, it has catalogued all unit consumption and the expected cost in a ‘Reckoner’ which clearly explains how the tariff is applied and billed.
