Joe Ghartey appointed Board Chair of GRA

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has appointed former Railways Minister Joe Ghartey as the new Board Chairman of the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA).
The Essikado-Ketan lawmaker replaces Dr. Tony Oteng Gyasi, who assumed the position of Board Chair of the GRA in August 2021.
Other members of the Board are: Ms Julie Essiam, Deputy Minister for Finance, Dr Alex Ampaabeng, Micheal Okyere Baafi, Mrs Elsie Addo Awadzi, Madam Susan Akomea, Mrs Araba Bosomtwe, and Mr Kwabena Abankwah Yeboah.
Finance Minister Dr. Mohammed Amin Adam, inaugurated the board in Accra on Wednesday, May 22.
He charged the members to work hard to help improve Ghana’s revenue mobilisation drive.
