MP, university organise orientation for 350 job seekers

The office of the Member of Parliament (MP) for Okaikwei Central Central Constituency in the Greater Accra Region in partnership with the Ghana Communication Technology University has organised an orientation seminar for prospective job seekers.
The prospective job seekers, numbering over 350, participated in the event held at the St Charles Lwanga Roman Catholic Church on June 1, 2023.
The teeming youth were registered to be trained in the MP’s sponsored skills training programme such as; web design, graphic design, mobile phone repairs, photography, and video editing.
Mr Patrick Boamah speaking in an interview said the programme is aimed at reducing unemployment within and around the Okaikwei Central Constituency.
He said the training will provide skilled job opportunities for the participants.
In attendance were Mrs Araba Hackman Akanji, Director of Strategic Business and Professional Development, Esmeralda Kweku Dua, the Coordinator for the Professional Development Unit and clergy.
