NPA CEO awarded Best CEO of the Year 2023 in petroleum sector

Dr. Mustapha Abdul-Hamid, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the National Petroleum Authority (NPA), has been named the Best CEO of the Year 2023 in the petroleum sector (Regulations).
This accolade recognizes his exceptional contributions and leadership in Ghana's petroleum downstream industry.
The prestigious award ceremony, held at the Kempinski Hotel Gold Coast in Accra on Monday, celebrated the achievements of several distinguished Ghanaian CEOs.
The event focused on highlighting and commending the success, innovation, leadership, and economic contributions of these business leaders.
This year's summit, themed “Reigniting Business and Economic Growth: Charting a Path Forward; Economic Diversification and Artificial Intelligence Transformation.
A Private-Public Sector CEO Dialogue and High Impact Learning,” was organized by the Chief Executives Network Ghana in collaboration with Deloitte, PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), the Ministry of Public Enterprises, the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC), the State Interests and Governance Authority (SIGA), the University of Ghana, and the Multimedia Group.
In his acceptance speech, Dr. Abdul-Hamid, who also serves as the President of the Africa Refiners and Distributors Association (ARDA), expressed his gratitude to the Board, Management, and staff of the NPA for their unwavering support.
Dr. Abdul-Hamid's recognition follows a series of accolades for his leadership.
He received the Outstanding Public Sector Leadership Award for 2022 for his innovative and transformative contributions to the petroleum downstream industry.
He was also named Public Sector CEO of the Year at the Ghana Business Awards in 2022.
In 2021, he was honored at the Ghana CEO Excellence Awards for his exemplary leadership, business excellence, and professionalism.
