NPA donates to National Chief Imam in honour of Ramadan

The National Petroleum Authority (NPA), led by its Acting Chief Executive, Godwin Kudzo Tameklo Esq., has reaffirmed its commitment to the Muslim community by making a generous donation to the Office of the National Chief Imam.
Accompanied by his deputies, Dr Sheila Addo and Dr Dramani Bukari, along with other senior management staff, Mr Tameklo presented the donation as part of the Authority’s annual tradition during the holy month of Ramadan.
Speaking during the presentation, Mr Tameklo emphasised the NPA’s dedication to fostering unity and supporting religious communities.
“Ramadan is a time of reflection, prayer, and giving. As an organisation, we believe in standing with our Muslim brothers and sisters in this sacred period,” he stated.
He further reiterated the Authority’s commitment to maintaining this annual gesture as a demonstration of solidarity and goodwill.
In response, His Eminence Dr Sheikh Osmanu Nuhu Sharubutu, the National Chief Imam, expressed his profound gratitude for the kind gesture.
“We deeply appreciate this continuous support from the NPA. Your generosity during this blessed month strengthens the bond between communities and exemplifies the true spirit of Ramadan,” he remarked.
He also offered prayers for Mr Tameklo and his team, asking for divine blessings upon their leadership and endeavours.
The event highlighted the significance of corporate social responsibility and interfaith harmony in national development.
As the Muslim community observes Ramadan with fasting, prayer, and charity, the NPA’s support serves as a testament to the power of collaboration in promoting religious and social cohesion.
