Petroleum tanker drivers' strike looms
Petroleum tanker drivers across the country have been directed not to move their trucks from today, Monday, 19 October 2020.
The leadership of the Ghana National Petroleum Tanker Drivers Union, however, says their members are to report to their various loading gantries at TOR, the union offices at Takoradi, Buipe and Kumasi, respectively.
“We are informing all tanker drivers across the country that on Monday, 19th October 2020, no driver should move a truck...,” the union said in a statement.
The union is expected to address the press later in the day over their concerns.
