President Mahama appoints Edmond Kombat as Acting CEO of Tema Oil Refinery

President John Dramani Mahama has appointed Mr. Edmond Kombat as the Acting Chief Executive Officer(CEO) of the Tema Oil Refinery (TOR).
The appointment, which takes immediate effect, is expected to bring renewed leadership to Ghana’s premier oil refinery as the government works towards enhancing the efficiency and operational capacity of the facility.
Mr. Kombat, a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the energy sector, is tasked with spearheading reforms at TOR to improve productivity and ensure the refinery plays a key role in Ghana’s energy security.
President Mahama expressed confidence in Mr. Kombat’s ability to deliver, emphasizing the importance of TOR in the country’s industrial growth and economic stability.
Mr. Kombat’s leadership at TOR is expected to focus on revamping operations, addressing financial challenges, and implementing strategic policies to enhance the refinery’s performance.
